Welcome to the web home & photo blog of a displanted desi back from peregrinations, now entrenched in Mumbai, but with wanderlust pulling at her core at every given moment.

I lived away for 12 years and while I love being back in the motherland, I don’t love everything about it. And the only way to keep from going crazy is to keep my sense of humor and phone camera on me all the time. I try never to leave home without either. And I don’t normally talk about myself in third person, I promise.

As a journalist and podcaster, I generally tell the smaller stories of the underdog (or cat) and people doing social good. I cover culture, health, science, the environment, development (and its cost) all with a focus on solutions journalism.
